In the last few weeks the Cape Town community has been gripped by fear and shaken to its core as a result of the assaults in Tokai, Khayelitsha and Rhodes Memorial. Sadly, these attacks are by no means unique in the lives of South Africans. We are not safe in our own parks, universities and homes. We need an urgent solution to prevent and respond to these attacks when they take place instead of simply dealing with the aftermath.

We’ve conceptualized a personal safety device called The Guardian that allows a person to send out an immediate alert when they are in danger. Worn on the wrist and linked to a smartphone via Bluetooth, it is quickly and easily triggered and notifies security companies as well as Guardian app users in a 5km radius, allowing for a rapid response. No one should ever experience the brutality of these attacks again.

Our Mission

AllSafe is committed to helping members of the South African community live a life free from violent crime. We want South Africans to feel safe in their parks, schools and homes.

Stop Violent crime
AllSafe believes that the effects of violent crime cause lasting damage to individuals, families and communities. We do what we do, to stop that from taking place.
Life Is Fragile
Human life is precious, and can be snuffed out in a heartbeat. We believe that being more proactive about crime prevention as it happens, instead of dealing with it afterwards, can save lives.
AllSafe recognizes that safety is a right for all South Africans, not just those that can pay for it. AllSafe commits to finding ways to subsidize the cost of The Guardian for poorer communities.
